The Best Practice design team was asked to breath new life into an untouched mid-century rambler for a young family with two daughters and very colorful taste. Located in Magnolia, the vintage house boasted spectacular views towards downtown Seattle, but was in dire need of updates. The new design is simultaneously reverent to the classic mid-century details while creating a fully modern open floor plan that expands to an exterior living space with panoramic views. The resultant design is a playful contrast to the history of the house.

Bottle STOP is a pavilion designed to promote recycling along Chicago's Lakefront Trail. Bottle STOP uses crowd-sourced plastic drinking bottles to make a canopy that shades a small retail space. 8000 bottles total make up this screen, which when lit acts as a beacon along the trail.
